“The Sensei and his 2 students”
“A Zen Tale”
"Sensei Meaning: The One Who Has Gone Before"
"The best form of control, is to relinquish control in it's entirety"
Think of 2 different people/students learning to fence, as in swordsmanship.
They both live with the same teacher. To start with, whilst doing chores around the house, as part of their training? the teacher attacks them at various times of the day, separately using a soft wooden sword.. it hurts however it won’t cause any permanent damage, the students are supposed to grab anything they can see, touch, in that moment, to defend themselves against the attack.
As time goes on in, in full expectation of being attacked, both student are on high alert, constantly looking out for the teachers attacks, so the teacher always attacks from the opposite direction, as to where the students expect.
One of the students eventually accepts, he can’t defend against a surprise attack, simply let’s go - if it hits it hits.
The other student is still hyper vigilant.
By letting go, the first student is ready to start learning fencing.
The second is not mentally ready, because he hasn’t let go.
We are all the second student, including myself, however I’m aware I’m the second student and have made serious efforts into letting go, simply accepting through indifference, if it hits it hits.
“Awareness is key”
The most important days of your life are your birth and death, neither of which you have control over.
Your most important achievements in this life, will come from “Belief” not hard work and control.
The same “intelligent Source” that beats your heart, and the hearts of our over 8.2 billion brothers and sisters, since the moment we were all born, is energetically connected to every living thing everywhere”
All you have to do is remove the layers of control, ego and more, to reveal your true essence and allow the clarity of your “True essence” to shine through”
“The universe/source is the Sensei”
“The attacks with the wooden swords? are life’s tests and trials”
“Every living thing in the universe, are the students, some let go far easier than others - incidentally less advanced species? surrender to their “true essence” and nature, faster than humans”
“Learn to let go and release control - one day at a time”
